- A name for a cousin of Emma's, Jocasto, was revealed in New X-men (1st series) #131. Emma also revealed that Jocasto had gotten married.
- Emma is a former villain of the X-Men.
- In the Ultimate X-men universe, Emma and Professor X went out until Emma dumped when she didn't agree with his methods.
- In the series Phoenix Warsong, it is revealed that the Stepford Cuckoos were grown in ova cells harvested from Emma, while she lay comatose after the Sentinel attack that killed her students, the original Hellions, and are only five of many of such cloned daughters.
